Unique, western style property Nestled in the Rocky Mountains in a friendly mountain community that dates back to the 1860s Outdoor enthusiasts can choose from fishing, skiing, hiking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and hunting. Step back in time in Silver Plume aboard the Georgetown Loop Railroad, or along the dirt Main Street, at shops like Silver Plume Antiques and Tea Shop and Sopp & Truscott Bakery.

Take a stroll down the dirt Main Street of Silver Plume. The small Victorian houses you pass by were homes to Colorado's earliest silver miners during the 1870s. As you take a walking tour of our town imagine dirt streets filled with braying mules, bustling shops and saloons, with Italian and Cornish immigrants returning home from the mines towering above town. During the peak of its population, from 1885 to 1905, more than 2,000 people lived in this community. Now less than 200 residents make this their year round home.
